I have always cared about my history, but never have I been so engaged and knowledge worthy of learning about Malcolm X. From reading the book, watching documentaries, and observing Spike Lee's adaptation of if further my awareness of that time period. He was a genius just out to help his fellow AfroAmericans. Many say he was a black supremacist, but that is not what he preached. Dissect his speeches! My favorite speech is The Ballot or the Bullet....come on people read up on your history!!! He had a message deep in that speech....a true statement....have times changed since then....HOW?
